Parvaaz

Parvaaz, formed in Bangalore in 2010 by Khalid Ahamed and Mir Kashif Iqbal, creates a unique fusion of folk, blues, rock, and psychedelia enriched by Kashmiri and Urdu poetry. Their music, filled with themes of longing, resilience, and transcendence, weaves intimate yet expansive soundscapes. The lineup solidified with Sachin Banandur on drums and Fidel D’Souza on bass, producing their debut album Baran (2014), a landmark fusion of poetic lyricism and atmospheric sound. Their highly anticipated third album is set to release in late 2025, marking the next chapter in their rich musical journey.
